Question replacing oil pan?

I just found a small leak coming from above the drain plup.....the pan has some rust spots but his one went through so my question is...Whats the easy way to replace oil pan? Can it be done without taking cat off? please if anyone has done it before can you let me know how you did it?......the car has 77k miles on it so its pretty rusty bolts on the cat....thx

you may be able to wire-brush the rust off and paint it. this will prolly be easier for you since it doesnt seem that you are pleased about removing the cat.
just remember to mask off anything you dont want sprayed. high temp paint should be used.
