cfm adjustable short throw shifter?

Does anybody have CFM's short throw shifter? How do you like it's adjustable feature? I am considering a sts and am curious which is best.

^^ How hard are they to get into reverse? My wife (who'd be better off with an automatic Versa or something) is, unfortunately, the principal driver of our car, and my only hesitation in getting an STS is that it may make it more difficult for her to drive it...

I have the CFM one, I love it!

I have never adjusted it, I have it set as low as it will go. Makes a huge difference. My GF SVT has the stock shifter, every time I drive it I feel like I am driving a truck lol

it made mine easer to get into reverse :) The only problem I have is sometimes 6th is a tad hard, but that is because of the powerworks relocation bracket (me thinks)

cfm sts FTW...i like having the weight portion of the counterweight taken off (ie not the bracket, just the weight) and my next thing will be the lower mount...ive heard that these just make it better, and easier, not worse!

By the cfm sts. It is awesome. Have it on the lowest setting and haven't messed with it since. Love it on the lowest setting. As for getting in reverse. No problems at all. And the construction is second to none. Comes with good directions and I believe tools. Good luck with your purchase.

I have the CFM adj. STS and Love the thing. I would recommend getting the package deal with the tranny mount too.

i too have one and love it. i keep it on it's shortest setting as well. but, whenever it's in the shop or whatever, i lengthen it. first time it took it in set short, the guy said i should have my car looked at b/c it's hard to get into reverse.
