who has one i searched but couldn't find anything



getting ready to order my aem cai and ofp...

is it worth it? 70$

i bet i could build it for 12$ or just use a breather and mount it close to the stock air intake from the fender


any ideas?

I got one as a gift. It's kind of annoying, really... I have to drain the thing once every 2-3 weeks before the level gets above the filter element.

You're probably better off building your own if you know how to build a bracket to mount it to the firewall.

I put one on my SVTF.
I have to agree, it is a bit of a pain having to empty it every other week or so.

Just knowing that all that oil that usually would be blowing back through (and coating) everything clear to the tailpipe, is now filtered out of my engine, makes it totally worth it to me.

I would think they make our cars cleaner burning as well.

I had the 3 part intake cleaning done over at Valvoline IOC before putting mine on, since I was also adding a CFM TB. The car had 65K miles on it then, and a fair bit of oil build up throughout the intake/pcv tracts.

the CFM unit is waaay overpriced. this mod is done for less than 20 using the SAME parts from the local hardware store. i believe there is a how-to here somewhere.

and theru you go...then just cut , breather hose and fit it there ;-)

I also don't have to empty it...and I even have FI.....
