need a head

Hey everyone I'm new to FF, so please have mercy.

I have a 2002 svt and my intelligent self cracked my head. I can't seem to find anywhere to get a new one, where would be a good place to lookż Also, this may be a dumb question, but could I use say a Zetec or other head if I can't find an SVT one?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and please keep in mind I am a car/focus/svt n00b
thx

As far as a head....New SVT heads are REALLY hard to come by.... You might check with B16sir1991 (mike) here on the boards he somehow can find everything you need for the focus.....

you can find used SVT heads in the Buy Sell Trade area too.....(sometimes)
TurboTom (owner of FocusPower) has a nice ported head that can probably work on your SVT too....http://www.focus-power.com/view.php?...orted_ZX3_Head

I hope that the above information helps....and welcome to FF

def try mike... if he can't get a hold of one.. than they're REALLY hard to find. you can always check a junk yard for parts... i believer car-parts.com can maybe help you out on that issue.

That sucks. I should visit these forums more often because I have an SVT Head, Tranny, Cams, clutch assy, Fidanza, etc all just sitting in my basement! I don't drive my SVT anymore so I could have sold you that head cheap!
