massive chatter noise with new spec clutch!!!

hey guys, I just got my car all back together after instaklking a new spec stage 1 and alum flywheel. I just got back from the test drive and it has this horrable sound, almost like a bad bearing but I replaced that. the sheet that came with the clutch says it may chatter a bit while it is breaking in but I don't think it should sound like this. the clutch feels fine engages perfect and I don't feel anything in the pedal. Should I give it awhile driving it and see if it goes away or should I just rip it all back out and see if something is wrong, I checked 3 times to make sure it was all together before I put the trans back in and it was all perfect. I'm lost at this point as to what it could be.

From what I hear on these forums, once you dump the factory dual mass flywheel for a solid one,
you'll pick up all sorts of chatter.
I do believe that's just a fact of life with an aftermarket unit.
The noise gets talked about in the following thread (from these forums) quite a bit:
"Read First: Post Clutch Q&A Here"

yeah I understand that I can and will get some chatter but this is LOUD, it's not so much a chatter than it is a loud tick, I almost want to say gind but not quite, that pretty much goes away with the clutch in. I would say one of my axels wasn't seated right if it didn't go away when I hit the clutch.

oh a Bleach fan i see. if you can post a video of it making the nosie it will help. sounds like a bad new throw out bearing. not sure if the SVT has a pilot bearing. a flywheel that not seated all the way can cause a nosie when the clutch is engaged.

I understand there are two versions of all the aftermarket SVT clutches now due to a redesigned pressure plate (someone please correct me... I think I'm getting the specifics wrong). The newer design supposedly is not as noisy. This is all hear-say; I don't have personal experience with clutches quite yet. Just throwing it out there.
