Intake manifold questions+ bonus wiring questions

'02 svt

1. What is the best way to get the manifold in and out? to get it out I pushed to brake reserve out of the way and pulled it out sideways but my manifold was broken making it somewhat smaller, I don't think the same procedure will work to put the new one in.

2. Under the manifold there is a plug that is tied in with the wiring to the starter, anyone know where this goes to? I looked around and didn't see anything unless it plugs into the bottom of the manifold where mine was broken.

3. Down by the horn (same wiring harness) there is another plug that is homeless. Is it possible this plugs into the stock intake? Otherwise where else would it go.

Thanks guys!

1.You just have to try different angles, its a real puzzle but there's a way, keep trying. I've done it a couple times. The hardest part is putting those damn rubber connectors back on.

2. Are you talking about a hose with a red/orange clamp in it, its a vaccum hose the connects to the bottom of the mani.

3.IDK

1. What do I have to remove? nothing? the fuel rail? everything?

2. No it's an electrical plug, looks like it plugs into a grey connector(it's broken). Thats why I was wondering if there was an electrical plug on the bottom of the intake.

Thanks

*Update* for search purpouses

1. The easiest way I found to get the manifold out is as follows.
-Take off the coolant res.(better yet move it out of the way)
-Remove the three bolts that hold the motor mount to the chassis
-Pull the motor as far forward as you can (about an inch or two)
-Remove the screws to the brake res. and one from the fuse box. Pull these out of the way as far as you can(not very far).
-take off the air box and throttle body(I just pulled the bracket off and pulled the throttle body out of the way).
-unhook all the hoses, dsi and connections. Don't forget the hose on the back of the manifold
-looses the clamps around the couplers.
-pull the manifold off and play with various angles until it comes out.

re-assembly is the reverse procedure.
