Low-end torque

Does anyone have any suggestions (beside's Tom's tune) for increasing low-end torque for a moderqate amount of money? Any help would be much appreciated.

Not much more you can do to increase power. ORP would probably make you lose low end torque, but you'd get gains at the top of the tach. 65mm throttle body doesnt really give you any gains at all, but gives you some great throttle response. So all that's really left that you can do is a tune.

You won't notice any difference with the exhaust.
CAI will help...a little bit.
Frankly, the above mods together will sound great, but don't expect any neck breaking performance gains by any means.
A tune will help more than both the above added together, for much less money.

Face it...our cars actually do have good low end torque.
Have you seen the numbers on other 4 bangers?
The SVT engine is most impressive.
It has 85% of its peak torque by the time it reaches 2,200 rpm.

It's the super-mega-long 1st gear that kills the bottom end on these cars.

If you want an appreciable improvement in bottom end performance,
you're going to have to invest in some type of forced induction.

Get a tune man, That will def bring your low end up. Look at some B4 and After tune dyno's. People usually gain 5-10ft/lbs between 3k-4k that you will def notice, at least I know I did.
You can also get a E-cam gear and advance it a few degrees this will move your Powerband a bit.

Congrats to you but unfortunately, that doesnt qualify as "a moderate amount of money"
