gettin kinda rough to put in gear?

well as usual theres another problem going on, ive noticed over the past couple weeks it getting pretty notchy when i shift gears, its just gives you that really bad feeling that something else is aboutt o go wrong, about 5% Of the time it goes in smooth with no scratchieness, but it never grinds or anything like that, anyone got any ideas?

Also its had royal purple synchromax in her for about 40k miles and i changed it out last week and it all looked very clean coming out, i put synchromax back in it too.

My transmission has shifted like your description since day one. Pretty notchy, no grinding when shifting. The only time I notice it shift smoothly is if I grind the gears... I don't make a habit of doing it, it's just something I notice... it shifts SOOOOO much nicer after a grind. Like I said, my car has done this since day one, so I've grown used to it.
