Get the volant! Its the perfect intake for the focus IMO. Its a mix between a cold air intake and a ram air intake. It utilizes the stock snorkle so that it sucks air into the enclosed volant box, and the box makes it so that the heat from the engine doesnt cause heat soak. Its a very high quality intake, and unlike the aem cai, there is no chance for hydrolocking your engine.

Buy neither, Get a K&N drop in filter, shows same increases as CAI. Save money for something else.

LOL at me........I didnt even notice that he drove an svtf. I don't think they even make a volant for the svtf. Either do a K&N drop in filter, or if you are looking for sound go w/ the AEM. Good luck w/ whatever you pick.

I would save your money and go with K&N drop-in. Especially if going to boost your car further down the line.

And don't get me wrong. The AEM CAI is awesome, sounds awesome and I love having it. I wouldn't buy it new, at the very least used, like I did. But if I looked back I'd prolly go with K&N drop in and call it a day.
