is it poss. to hydrolock in never ending snow?

I'm not sure if this should b here or not but it kind of has to do with performance. This is prob such a noob question but is it possible to hydrolock your engine if you have a cai and drive in like 4 to 5 inches of snow atleast 3 times a week. I know you have to suck up a lot of water but just curious to know if its going to hurt my engine. Thanks for the help in advance

Its not likely, and I can't recall ever hearing of it happening due to snow. I would however be very wary of large puddles, and heavy watery slush. Might be a good idea to invest in one of those outerwears, they can at least provide an extra level of protection and are particularly good with snow.

Nice. The shear negligence is awesome. As if you were trying to get a new block on order. That's not to say I think hydrolocking is easy to do at all. Especially due to rainfall - but you sure sound like you're willing to try.

In the end, 99% of hydrolocking stories start with ... so I was going through a puddle and it was deeper than I thought. I stepped on the gas and...

Take it for what you will.

oh, no.. after i was done driving on that road(witch i avoided all of the heavy puddles)

i got on another clear road, and tried to accelerate, and it wouldnt let me go above 4k... probably just because the filter was too packed with water and snow...

if it was starting to hydrolock, i would have pulled over and waited for it to dry off a little...

Ahh, the way you had worded it made it sound much worse. Wasnt necessarily hydrolock then, you probably couldnt get air to the cylinders.
