x2.....i saw that on ebay the other day and laughed...if ur gonna do it....do it right and get a quaife....thats my plan as shortcuts big or small will just cause you problems in the long run. im a firm believer in you get what you pay for so save up that little extra and get a quaife.

Looks used too or is just me. I'd try it someone bought for me. But yeah you are kinda taking a chance now if you had the MTX75 instead of the harder to find six speed. Its alot easier to replace the 5 speed than replacing the 6 speed. I can go to any junkyard and get a used 5 speed now the 6 speed I would definitly use quailty parts in it. IMO

Don't waste your money, either get the Torsen from Ford Racing or a Quaife

Considering you can get the Torsen for $630 it really isnt worth it to cheap out on something that is such a PITA to change if it breaks. Not to mention you are SOL depending on how it breaks.

Get the Quaife, and if you're on a budget get the Torsen. I was just looking into this too, and seems like the OBX is too risky. As far as OBX goes, clear corners or knock-off intakes and headers are one thing, LSD's with your tranny's life at risk is another. Also, it says they have a lifetime warranty but that's on the LSD only. So big whoop, the LSD breaks and kills your tranny and you get a nice new LSD with no tranny to put it in...

I'd never put an OBX product in my SVT. I've seen some of their products and I'm not impressed. OBX is for civic DX's, not SVT's

OBX LSD's are direct copies of Quaifes, built in China. A lot of people say "don't buy it" because they see "OBX" stamped on the box, but as far as I can tell, every Civic owner who has actually installed one thinks they work great. I really would question all the opinions being thrown around here until someone steps up and buys one of these, tears it down, and gives us a write-up with pictures and professional inspection next to a Quaife.
