Warranty question for all you svt experts

Ok I need to have my clutch looked at on my 04 svt it has 45k miles and the only mods I have are springs, struts, camber kit, sway bar, and strut bars. So do all the 04s have the transferable 5yr 100k mile warranty and will it still cover with my mods?

The quick answer is yes, all of the '04 SVT's have the 5 year, 100K powertrain warranty. However, clutch is not a warranty item unless you're talking about broken linkage or somthing similar.

I would say the suspension mods would not affect your warranty in any way. But then it depends on your dealership.

They covered suspension parts on the powertrain warranty?

Clutch is not covered, but the flywheel and PP are.

You must have an extended warranty.

That was not from Ford. It's third party.

Right, so you are comparing apples to oranges... The clutch is not covered by the powertrain warranty that came standard with the car. If you had a bumper to bumper extended warranty that you or a previous owner purchased, it would be covered.

Actually, it will not be covered. If you pull out the PremiumCare handbook it states in the yellow box that the clutch is not covered.
