Messed Up!

Ya I bought my SVT about a week ago from a dealer and the starter already went out. So I have to drive a RENTAL CAR for a day while they put a new one in. While they where fixing it they found out that something on the intake manifold was broken. That is the reason that I try to stay away form dealers. Got a good deal on it $9000 with 45,000 miles on it not to bad. That just ticks me off that they couldnt change that stuff out before they sold it.

Covered under warranty? Tell me about it I drove mine off the lot heard a weird rubbing niose in the front drove it back. Ended up being a wheel bearing. Picked it up a few days later and the car throws a code. Drove it straight back. O2 sensor went out. Thank god I has a little warranty on it. That was over a year ago. Once all the bugs get ironed out you'll love it.

Ya no joke about the Warranty. I am glad that I have that. That is the best thing that a dealership can offer, and thats about it.

I didn't truly love my car till all the bugs were out. I haven't had any problems in a while. First few months were tuff though. Currently, outside the crappy gas mileage, I'm not gonna complain.

I bought mine with 45k on it. Luckily, ::knocks on wood:: I haven't had anything major go out. I replaced the clutch, but since I did it by choice, the flywheel was re-usable.

I know that this is a little dumb of a question but The Throttle is catching or sticking. Is it the throttle bodie itself or is it something else. On the mustang it was from making the idle too low but it will different on most cars.

I've heard of that working with the Throttle cable sticking a bit. Just a bit of helpful info I've learned.
