never buy champion spark plugs!!!!!!!

ok so i went for cheep plugs intill i go boosted so i went with champion plugs well lets say i will NEVER use them ever again. it turned out they melted because i guess they where the wrong temp spark plugs and melted and burn my valves so i now have no compresion. plus since there was no spark i desided to give it a crank to actually see if it sounded like i had compression and my plastic intake exploded in to peices and started on fire!!! soo....

i am looking for parts for a 2003 svt focus now:

i either need the entire svt head or valves and valve seats (since mine melted)
also i need a thicker head gasket since im going boosted (dont know where to find thincker head gaskets)
timing belt or chain (dont know if its a belt or chain havnt looked yet)
water pump
and a stud kit (good one since it has to hold boost)
and any thing else i need to redo my head to fix it and to set it up for boost also if you have any web sites where i can find this stuff just make some sugestions they are deffinitly welcome!!!

Sucks, I think a regular zetec head gasket is thicker than an svt one, may be wrong though.

yeah... i'd be pissed...

the standard zetec gasket is thicker... and should do the trick although i know of many people who are boosting w/out dropping compression by using the thicker gasket on the svt's...

sorry to hear about that... im runnint the champion dbl plats in my car right now... but will be going back to motorcrafts soon...

nice job tard. looks like ramen noodles for you until you buy all the parts you need. And i told you motocraft even wally world sells them. I guess i will be looking around for the parts. The zetec gasket sounds like a good idea since you will be boosting. And you dont need valve seats you need valve seals (the seat is part of the head). On the plus side i figure since you are going to have the head off anyway and doing the valves you might as well do a 3 angle valve job...but DO NOT and i repeat DO NOT go porting and polishing it you WILL screw it up.

I guess the first question here is does the SVT use the same size valves...or even the same valves as the Zetec? I know the springs are different but havent found anything on the valves themselves yet
