Another exhaust question (Please dont shoot me)

So I'm currently deciding between the Borla and Magnaflow exhaust for my 2002 SVTF. I have searched and read the posts, and I'm not looking for any opinions on those two. I do gather that the main reason for replacing the SVTF's exhaust is looks/sound. The performance gains seem pretty minimal until you start talking F/I which I can't do since the car is under a service contract for 23,000 more miles.

This morning I came across this just doing a some bored Ebay surfing.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-04...mZ150073203265

I know I don't trust too many products from Ebay, especially since this seems a bit underpriced for a cat-back. I didn't see this in the Ebay scams post in the other forum so I'm wondering since there isn't much power increase to be had from a new exhaust on my NA motor, do you guys think this would be an ok exhaust. I think the car would look awesome with a dual exhaust and that is what I was originally searching for in a new exhaust. The only thing I would probably change would be those tips. Other than that its stainless steel, and I my only concern is I wouldn't want to put this on and lose any power.

Thanks.

I would stay away from it. 1. It doesn't say how big the pipe is. 2. The pictures aren't big enough to see to well but the welds look pretty crapy. 3. You get what you pay for. No you might not make a ton of power with a cat back but add it to other mods you may do down the raod and it will make a big differance.

I could find better things to spend $260.98 on for my SVT. If you're not going FI, I don't think it's worth it going with a different cat-back. It's definitely a big question mark that the diameter isn't listed. They do list the tips' size as 2.75", and seeing how big they are next to the piping, I'd say this cat-back would be a restriction on the SVT motor (you'll lose HP and/or torque).

A. I've heard bad things about ssautochrome
B. Don't do it. I doubt it will even fit the SVT's flex. From what I understand it's a little different than the standard ZX3.

I saw that system a few months back and after many emails I finally got the answer; 2 inch inside diameter. Unless you want to less power stay away from that system.

Thanks for the replys everyone. I'm staying away from this one. I asked the seller a question about the pipe size before I came and posted here. I got back a response saying sorry we dont have any additional information on this product other that what is listed. I responded asking why they couldn't go and measure a pipe to see the size.

So a side question. Does a good at least 2 1/2" dual exhaust cat-back exist for the car? Or would I need to get a custom job done?

The duals I see around the site I think are custom. You won't net more power from a dual, if you just going for looks that's fine. 2.5 should be good.

I would go with a trubendz set with which ever muffler you want.

Face it... o one ever see's the bottom of 99% of the cars out there... your exhaust doesnt need to be polished... just the tip.

I run the trubendz 3" on mine with the Borla muffler and I must say it sounds pretty darn good.
