Questions About Throttle Body And UDP

Ok, First off I was looking into getting a new Throttle Body from Steeda. (I think its the Focus Central One) Anyways, I have Steeda's SR intake for my car and was wondering if I would need an adaptor to make it work with the new throttle body. (A new reducer tube)

Also, is anyone with the steeda intake having trouble with it vibrating against the metal frame of the car where the old air box goes? And were there supposed to be mounting brackets included or does it just hang there off the throttle body? (Hits where the red dot is located in the picture)

I put a piece of rubber foam in between to help with the issue and checked the clamps to make sure they are tight.

Lastly for the Filter, what is the recommended cleaning intervals and how do I clean it? Soap and water like the K&N and just use K&N filter spray?

as far as getting a UDP set, what one would be the best to get? I have read that the Focus Central UDP's can cause the car to overheat due to the larger water pulley. Any idea's and opinions on this would be great.

Thanks again,

-Kris

I clean my filter twice a month but I have the AEM cold air that gets alot dirtier then ur ram air. I use the K&N filter cleaner kit, you can find it at auto parts stores and it runs about 10-12 bucks. It comes with everything you need to clean it out perfect.

For UDP I use the afx pulley which is the smallest and lightest for the focus. Click Here Thats where I got mine, cheapest price I found. Alot of focus guys swear this is the best pulley for the focus because it underdrives the motor by a bigger percentage then the rest of the pulleys that are out there. I have used it for about a year and I love it.

I have the same problem with my Steeda, and I too place a foam between to stop that annoying noise. Also no I received no mounting brackets.

UDP, I have the Focus Sport, it is a great mod and to me a great bang for the buck. If still available with the free shipping its only $110.00
