The SVTF is sold - pending

Well guys, looks like sometime in December is my last hoorah in the turbo svtf. DazedFocus will be taking over ownership if all goes well. It may be premature to say, but its been fun!

The new toy (88 Mazda 323 GTX) will consume a lot of time with the whole restoration process. It comes home tommorow and I will begin getting it roadworthy. I spent a few hours this evening doing a tune-up on it. Got the car to start and now, I just have to catch it up on all its services.

I'll be around for sure and I might pick up another SVTF as a fun car so I dont have to mile the crap out of the 323.

Here's a pic of the GTX if you dont know what it is....

Its 1.6 DOHC Turbo AWD. Easily makes 190whp with intake, exhaust, ecu and 16psi. I plan on adding a greddy blow off valve, front mount intercooler and calling it a day! A lot of the work I need to do is making it a pretty car again. The bodys perfect other than the rust spot on the rear wheel arch...

Be good to dazedfocus!!

people do that here all the time. I don't get it. I just boosted my car and plan on keeping it for a looooong time.

I'm just as tickled getting into my car now as I was almost 4 yrs ago when I first brought it home.

Amatuers! That car is sweet! The GTX is one of the first Tuner cars. That car will be hitting 12's for a lot less money than it would take for an SVT to hit 12's and it's AWD on top of it. Great buy Darth. Please keep us updated on it's progress. Are you going for a tuner look or a Ralley look?

That GTX rocks!!! An old buddy of mine had a light blue 323 Turboed sedan and it ran between 12-13 seconds all day long with just mild mods. Congrats!

Im selling my car becuase I got an offer that I just cant pass up. If it falls through, then I'll still have my car, no regrets. We'll see what happens when he makes the trip out here to test drive it.

Im coming along great with the GTX; already ordered a turbo upgrade, intercooler/ pipe kit, ECU, and Im going to have a 2.5" Turbo back done. Just need to replace some old rotted bushings, get the car detailed and just do little things here and there. I did about 4 hours worth of maint. work tonight. Needs brakes and master cylinder I think. Sitting for so long seized everything up.
