Mine came with the 5/100k Powertrain. There was someone on the boards here, who was offering real good prices on the better warranties. Ended up paying like $700 to upgrade to the PremiumCare until 2009.

Moved to "SVT Owners Lounge".
Later build 03 models, and all 04 models had the 5/100,000 powertrain warranty.
Remember though, "powertrain" is pretty limited in what it will fix.

Got me a new motor.

The warranty depends on the original sell date of the car as it was implemnted mid 03. It costs $100 to transfer it (even if the dealer tells you otherwise, when the shit hits the fan, it must be transfered). And there is a deductable, I don't remember if it's 50 or 100. It covers pretty much everything in the engine and trans except electrical and clutch (unless the flywheel comes apart and wrecks it).

I just had my tranny and internals replaced and didn't cost me a penny, and I'm not the original owner, and I never tranfered the warranty. Did I get away with something?
