A Svt!

I am in the market for a svt focus! What exactly are all the differences between the svt and the zx3 or zx5 models? What kind of 1/4 times do they have? Are there any problems to look out for? Would you recommend a different car under 13-14K That is 04 and newer?
Thanks!

First off The difference between a ZX3 and a ZX5 is the number of doors.SVT comes in both 3 and 5 door. An SVT comes with upgraded suspenion ,6 speed tranny ,and a completly different engine setup. It also has upgraded interior ,a mild body kit ,and better wheels(17's). A stock SVT runs mid to low 15's in the 1/4. It's better suited for the curves.

The difference is not just in the parts, but in the driveability. The SVT is much more smooth on the freeway and it takes turns like nobody's business. I owned an '04 ZX3 and I bought an '04 SVT ZX3 and the difference between the two is astonishing. You can throw all the performance upgrades you want on a ZX3 but you're still not gonna have the same quality you get with the SVT model.

Agree. If you buy it you will fall in love with the total driving experiance. I love my SVT and would not trade it for another car in it's class.

Buy one and be sorry none. Except when it breaks down. For real, i love my svt. Like all else say, get an svt. Looks, handles, drives better than a regular zx3. Buy it now.

Ford has built "special" cars over time, SVO mustang, Turbo Coupe T- Bird, etc, if anyone has ever had the chance to have or own these in their prime will tell you that theres something special about the build of these cars, SVT Focus included. They "feel" different and somehow better than any regular car thats in the same league.
