tru-power pulleys

hey guys , im thinking about gettin a pulley kit for my svt 02 focus..but i heard the pulley kits usually mess with the a/c and the front headlights, causing them to dim when idle? does anyone have that problem?? and is it even worth buying???

I got the underdrive crank pulley kit from Ford racing. Its just the crank pully so you don't have to mess with anything else, also includes a new belt.Paid $109. for it from Ford dealer.Gives a bit quicker revs, feels a bit stronger. Good install page at My Ford Focus .com in their "How to" section.

There are alot of people that are running UDP's in there cars with out any eletrical problems. I think Focal has said he has 30,000+ miles with no problems. IMO I would get a set that can still use the stock belt. Other wise it may be hard to find a replacement down the road when the belt needs to be replaced.

I don't think that matters it's still taking power from all the acessories. I could be wrong, but it still has to free up some HP form somwhere, like alt/power ster. That kind of stuff.
