i went with the focus central shifter. it works good but i would have paid more for the steeda tri-ax just because i have heard good things. i am thinking of shortening my short throw even more.

I also have the steeda and love it. The car should've come with it from the factory. However, I thought the Steeda was less expensive than the Focus Central...maybe it was just my sources??

i have steeda also and it's GREAT, no doubt about it, you should go with steeda you will not be disappointed. the resaon behind getting the steeda is because it changes the piviot point and the other short shifters don't, others like focus central only reduce the height of the shifter not the actual piviot point! so therefore steeeda is #1 with the shifter!
