Almost had a S/C....

Well... Got a payment from the VA today for my GI Bill that was $6000 to much. I didn't want to take the chance in spending it and then them wanting it back, so I called them and told them they paid me to much. They are putting in a claim for it to get looked into, and will get back to me by the end of next week. Until then, I have $6000 extra in my checking account that I can't touch. Such a sad day!! I really want to splurge on that PW.

Carry on!

Chad

Or, you could buy me a Powerworks.

I would go crazy with that kind of money sitting in my account that I couldn't touch.

I could use a Fidanza flywheel, ClutchMasters stage 4, 6 puck clutch, and an LSD. Priority mail please.

Make sure to not spend that money. I had a friend that the air force accidentally gave too much money. They will get it back, believe me.

Yeah, I was in the Corps for 4.5 years, and they are pretty slow on giving back pay and such. But man, they give you one more penny then needed, and they take it back so fast without any warning!

On another note, I'll make sure to send out all those parts orders as soon as they tell me I can keep it! I know they'll be taking back... I just don't know when.

Carry on!

It is either a toss up between the PW and the Procharger kits. The only thing I don't like with the Procharger is how it is all mounted. I don't like how low it all is. People all say it isn't that low, and that you just have to watch how you drive... but I bottom out the front of the car every morning when I leave the PD parking lot. There is no way around it...

That is going to kill me if it takes them a month to take the money back!!! I'm just trying to act like it is not even there.

Carry on!

Chad

I'll second the Procharger, it really isn't that low but if that bothers you then just get a front mount instead <-- maybe an extra $200. Don't spend that money... at least not more than you can afford to pay back! :)

I'm not even going to think about touching that cash!!! I learned that from when I was in the Corps many years ago. I let them know about it right away. Now I just have to wait until they take it back.

Carry on!
