My clutch also failed at only 8000 miles. Its a known fact with Ford and SVT that the SVTF clutch is prone to premature failure. Do a search of the SVT forum, you will find numerous complaints and replaces concerning it.

You should not have any problems with this, although it would depend upon the dealer. Just remember this, Ford has a 12 month or 12,000 miles warranty coverage on "everything" including wearable items. Clutch, brake pads, windshield wipers, etc, etc, etc. Its all covered, dont let the dealer tell you other wise. My dealer tried to tell me, the clutch replacement was not covered under warranty, untill I called Ford.

Just called the dealer the lady said it depends - if its normal wear and tear then its gonna cost me 700-800$ if its something else then its gonna be covered by warranty - if its not i think im just gonna buy a stage 2 and put it in no point in wasting 800$ on a regular stock clutch

I love how 90% of those F'in Ford dealers always scream out first:...it's probably you're fault...........They probably got all the SVT's they sold come back for the same problem...but instead of assuming that the driver might be right and just check....NO, you get the same stupid reply........

I'm done....thanks

Peace......................
