Screamin demon coil

I was just wondering if anyone has a screamin demon coil on their SVT? I don't ever hear of any mention of them in threads on this website. I just got one and haven't installed it yet, wanted to get some input. Also if I have a Diablo tune should I get a new tune with the new coil?

Boy ... i sure wish you would have asked first.

I took mine off and tossed it. I get better performance out of the stock coil w/FRPP wires.

I'm not really sure why there are aftermarket coils for our cars.

Previous owner put one in my car - along with some Livewires that tore themselves apart when I tried to check my plug gaps (found plat plugs in there too, waiting for an excuse to get some coppers in).

At least it was free, if it goes I'll replace it with stock.

With a set of FordRacing wires and the stock coil you can easily gap your plugs at .060.... plus save your self a wad of cash.

I went ahead with the MSD wires and a .06 gap on the 22C's and I can say it performs better than stock....

Where do you guys get the FRPP wires for the SVT's? I looked at CFM.com and they dont have them. Also, what plugs do you guys run? What works? I read you are gapping your plugs at .060?? Thats pretty large!! What is the stock gap? I dont want to waste my money on DENSO's if they dont work, because I know on my Mustang they weren't really worth the 1 horsepower if that that I got by spending like 20 bux per spark plug. Thanks
