Envied, dont you have HKS? and if so, its a 2.4 rather than a 2.2. i dont think the tenth of an inch is gonna make much of a difference.

Envied', have you looked into the MBRP offering? They're Focus cat-back system seems pretty mean.

That's what I'm using on my 04' SVTF... It's actually a really good set up IMO. It definitely has a mean tone to it and I only paid $259. T304 Stainless steel, good fitment. I'm pretty happy with mine. If your set on the Borla you can also talk to FORDSVTPARTS. He may be able to help you out with this part... try here for info on the mbrp exhaust. mbrp

Anyone ever tried a 3" exhaust on an SVTF? I understand the physics of backpressure. Just curious however.

Usually speaking yes I was just curious if anyone has tried it. Or how about 2.75"? Sorry about the hijack.

anything bigger than 2.5" on a 2 liter NA motor will hurt performance and will be a waste. exhaust velocity and scavenging will be ruined
