Noise 5 Seconds After Car is Shut Off?

Well I will turn my car off and about 5 seconds later when I get out of the car, I hear a noise that almost sounds like some type of valve closing. Any clue what this might be?

Yes i do , More then likely it is the IMRC controle unit closing the duel runner in the intake manifold

^^^10-4.
I've heard mine up to a couple minutes after shutting it off.
More often than not, it switches when the engine shuts off.
There's just the occasional "pop" after the fact only a couple times a week.
I've no idea why it takes longer sometimes.

Turbo timer.

:D

Actually... I think it's the Intake Control Runner. But don't quote me on that because it's the only thing I can say is different than your average bear on the SVTf. Other than everything else that is...

I hear it too. I am pretty sure it is the DSI going to the default position when the vehicle is off. So, rather than cause for worry, it tells you your DSI clip is not broken.

right before i get out of mine, right after the engine has completely stopped, i can slam the gas to the floor, and you can hear a cool sound, its kinda like a floooooof. someone else try it, next time you turn your car off, slam the gas, and see if it makes a cool noise.

Yea pretty sure its DSI, I hear it from time to time on mine. One night got curious flogged the gas and shut car off popped hood climbed out and sure enough sound was coming right from intake manifold. Foci seem to be H.N.E.V heavy noise emmiting vehicles. Only my old uncle has less obnoxious noises coming from him than the focus. Like everybody else said doesn't seem to be an issue.
