Fuse help

does anyone happen to know what fuse works the block heater? i pluged mine in last night and let it sit for about 10hrs and nothing happend...i don't think i can get real technical tryin to fix it nor do i think i want too but i'll check the fuese to see if thats in good shape or not

well that sux... well can you tell me exactly what it's used for? cuz like i said i had it plugged in alllll damn night and i go to start the car this morning and it started harder then it ever has

The block heater is a 110volt directly plugged into the heating element

You should never leave it plugged in all night, thats really bad for that element. if its not working you either burned it up leaving it plugged in that long or its just bad. You could also have a bad wire harness. The pieces to fix it are relatively cheap if you need either piece. if youre going to use it, go to like Home Depot or Lowes and buy you a outlet timer and set it to come on about an hour before youre ready to go in the mornings. Thats how i use mine. If you need either the element or wire, let me know.

Its basically just an electrical cord that runs down to a heating element thats on the side of the engine block. The heater goes into a freeze plug hole and takes its place.
