Two questions: 1. Traction control, 2. Revving the hell out of the motor

I plan on getting a tune from Tom eventually. Has anybody found a way to cut TC out all together while leaving intact the ABS system? I read all the threads I could find on the issue, but I didnt' come up with anything too exciting. All I read is that you can install a switch to kill the fuse connection.

and...

Is this thing made to rev to 7000 RPMs similar to honda's V-tec motors? I know you can push those little hondas to redline consistently for the life of the motor with little to no detriment. Does the same hold true to our SVTF's (gas mileage aside)??

as far as killing TC, a tune from tom will completely kill TC when you push the button (that means that it'll work under 20mph too) and if you want you can just do the killswitch, but obviously that kills ABS too.

So--if I do not push the button (IE, TC would be on), I will still have my traction control AND my ABS, but if I push the button (IE, TC would be off), I will lose my TC AND my ABS?

^^That would be the exact setup I would want.

Im pretty darn sure thats what it does, at least from what i've read others say. Now it might be that it disables TC but you still have ABS with the tune.

^^that would be optimal. I hope tom chimes in here!

Tom! I want to get one of your tunes, and hopefully it has this:

Button off: TC and ABS function in unison with the tune

Button on: TC off completely, ABS still functions in unison with the tune.
-OR-
Button on: TC off completely, ABS off completely, tune still in full force.

^^Are either of these correct setups?
