Transmission Fluid

i'm SVTF is going in the shop tomorrow for some transmission warranty work, i'm having a problem with the gears grinding when the R's are high and i'm shifting from 1st to 2nd and so on but when i completely release the clutch thats when i hear a grinding noise, anyways.. i know the trans is gonna be taken down and either rebuilt or a new one installed and i was curious as to what fluids are good?

i think i remeber catching a thread where someone said Royal Purple is amazing fluid... but i'd just like some input b4 they put the car back up and fill it with the stock tranny fluid... any help would be appreciated

well, i choose B&M, they are tranny masters, so im sure their fluid is very good, i put it in my 05 before i got rid of it, and will put it in my 07 here soon, it tightened up the sloppyness that was apparent in the tranny, and made the shifts feal alittle firmer.

Royal purple is a sythetic tranny fluid and it si great. Ford has a product called FRICTION MODIEFIER that is in a little bottle and I dont know if its still sold but adding that to your full syn trany fluid makes gears smooth and predictable and is worth the 20 bux a bottle.

I have had several friends put it in their MTX 75s and driven 2 SVTS with RP and friction modifier and im amazed at what fluid does!

all i know is these guys at the Dealership better NOT tell me what so ever that it is a clutch problem b/c there is no slippage what so ever at any point in time while driving
