Recaro euro seats

Would u spend $600 on these seats there in good condition but the side air bags are blown so they will need to be fixed. Are they worth this kind of money seems a lil steep in my opinion

I was just talking to that same guy a couple days ago. A clean set will sell for $1000 easy. I guess the question is do you want to replace the air bags, or just sew it up and be happy with it. Your Airbag light will be on though.

You could probably do 500. Spend maybe 130 or so to have them stitched up. Depends how bad you want them i guess.

FWIW I paid 400$ for my recaros all stitched up but with blown airbags, but I got a steal on them.

You can put your airbags in the recaros to avoid the airbag light. Easier too when you already have access to the bag location via the hole created.

I had an airbag blow out on one of my recaros last year due to hitting a pothole. I ordered the air bag through Steve at tasca and when it came in asked my local upholstery shop to install and sew up the seat. It was a very reasonable price for what I had done believe it was about $100 for install and sew and the airbag I think was a couple hundred but no airbag lights have a new airbag in there to keep me safe and my seat looks brand new still.

Buy airbags and get them installed(ford put them in there for a reason :) just saying)

I sell full recaro interiors for st170s for $600 here in the uk with no defects so $600 with blown airbags does sound steep, its a real shame shipping to the US is so expensive as I have many full sets of interiors including half leather too

That is in my very small opinion of course, but I paid around $1200 for the seats and door cards here in DFW about two years ago. I too had to please the passenger side airbag. I went hunting in the local junkyards until a I sound a very poor SVT that I really felt sorry for bu cut the airbag out anyway before wishing him good luck.

I bielive that I ended up with around $250 to get the airbag reinstalled and it turned out beUtiful. FWIW I am located in DFW, Texas. I wish you good luck.

I wouldnt pay that much for them, especially when there are several sets for sale for about the same price, without giant holes in them.

The problem is...you USE to be able to sell them for 1k+ all day, but people are cheap as S#$t now and wont pay the money. Not, you cant give them away for 600. (hence why there are several sets available for sale over the FB pages)

Same fate as the MACH HIDS, you use to not be able to touch a used pair for less than 600 a set, now, you cant get 300 unles they are 150% mint....all of which is why I will just hoard parts and keep them verse giving away for pennies.

Those seats are worth 3-400 TOPS

They are worth whatever the buyer is willing to pay, not a penny more, not a penny less.
