Wire/pin diagram for headlight switch

I am installing gauges and I need to wire in the dimmer wire. Which wire do I tap into on the headlight switch for this?

Anybody have a pin diagram for the plug that goes into the switch?

like just the wire that turns on the gauge back light with the parking lights? that would be pin 13. as for the light output intensity, I am not sure.

I think that's what I need. I need it to dim when the parking lights come on. So pin 13 is for the parking lights?

It needs a constant 12v + , a 12v - , a 12v switched, and a separate 12v switched for the dimmer. The gauge dims to a fixed rate(like 50%)

If it's not 13 try 58 or 58 L/R, at least I know that makes the lights in the HL switch itself dim when I was testing my LED conversion in the house. Autozones website has all the Haynes manuals for free with wiring diagrams in them.

What section would the wiring diagram be under? I looked thru a few but nothing stood out as the headlight switch. And thanks for the info about autozone manuals. Beats having to buy one.

Under Fig. C202
should be pin 9 on the pigtail (labeled 58d in the switch.)

Sorry your link just goes to Autozones main page. They have one of those annoying sites that does that with links. What section did you find the diagram under. I can find it that way.

Thanks
