ZX3 header on an SPI?

First of all will a ZX3 header [oem] fit on an SPI? I know its a silly question, but hey Im a newbie what can I say. Becuase I found a real good deal from a body. Was wondering if it were possible and if so, will it add performance to my SE [spi].

No one will Respond but do you understand why would they make 2 different types of headers if they all fit the same? Thats why they make A Zetec, Duratec, SPI headers.

I'll reply. No they are not compatable. wish they were. You'll find that with the SPI, there are only a few manufacturers out there for us. The rest we have to fo ourselves. For example, I have a Mustang TB, an Escort header and cam, and other misc. parts on my SPI.

Is a Escort Header Swap pass emissions testing? And is it a good alternative to the Shorty or Race Header?

Yep, that's me. I went by waterboy there, but lost it when my computer crashed and my default password was in there. DOH!!

I decided to come here periodically because I'm getting a little tired of some of the BS there.

Was readubg the post as you suggested. Pretty impressive project I might add. But I noticed that it was old. How easy honestly WATERBOY is the project? Considering that I have no experiance with machining and whatnot, but I do have access to people that can do it for me [not for free though]. I know I have to clean the header and whatever. I can do that myself, but with the cutting an whatever...

Also since it old the picture cannot be viewed. I dont know if this is my computer or not. But would either one of you have these pictures from those posts? Would Like to see what I could be undertaking.

It was easy to me. I am quite mechanically inclined though. There were a-lot of measuring, tack welds, and eyeballing. It took about a day on and off. I was working on another project at the same time. If you went at it nonstop, it should only take an hour or two. My pics are gone too. Another victim of the crash.
