CAI fitting a SOHC engine?

I am about to get a CAI and i am not sure if it will fit my SOHC engine. its a 2000 LX. Are all the components the same? will it fit?

You can get all the Zetec intakes to fit a SPI engine if you upgrade the TB to an aftermarket one.

THIS for example.

Read up on the SPI forum, there are ALOT of threads about this already. Example below...

I read elsewhere (maybe it was here, or FJ) that the stock SPI TB is 53mm in diameter, and the Zetec TB is 57mm. So, you can either hose clamp that puppy, as 2mm all the way around can easily be soaked when done right, or you can get a rubber "reducer" from your local hardware store.

Either way, because 99% of all short rams / CAIs have a rubber adapter to mount to the TB itself... you're laughing.

i have a zetec cai on my spi and haven't put my new tb on yet i just reversed the rubber mount and it works fine
