exhaust question

I've seen a zx3 with dual exhaust. Does anyone know if there is a kit avaible for the spi or know of anyone who makes custom exhausts?
Also does this actually have any advantage over a standard aftermarket exhaust or is it just for looks?
I figure it my increase the flow slightly, I"m just curious.

There are a few options available. You can go to flowmaster's web site or you can go to magnaflow's website and order you a muffler. The best option to do is to go to magnaflow and order a round muffler. The one on the focus is round so it will fit right in. You need to measure you muffler though b/c magnaflow does have different sizes. You can either buy a single in dual out or a single in single out. With the single in single out you can get a "Y" pipe put in right after the back wheels and run your duals from there. Another option is to go to a website that sells the european focus parts and I know for sure that one of them had the rally focus exhaust up for sale. The rally focus exhaust is a single in dual out exhaust. But I don't know if it will fit on the spi. Might want to ask some of the more mechanically inclined guys around here.
The only time I dont like Bush is when Im at the "Y".

dual exhausts are basicaly just astetics. i do not believe you will see any gain over a standard aftermarket exhaust. some people even believe they may not be as good. i dont know about all the techincal aspects of it, but most ppl say that dual exhausts are for larger displacment then our little fofo.

my personal opinion is that its not worth it. get yourself a nice single exhaust simple and i believe you will enjoy it. dont waste your money on the dual exhaust, put it into parts that will actually help your car.

but of course, that is just my opinion. and since its your car, my opinion doesnt mean beans.

whatever you do, keep us posted.
