Check Engine???!!!!!

Whats up? I have a 2000 Focus SE SPI and it has been in storage for about 7 months now since I am deployed. Before I stored it the check engine light came on and I had it read and the code said "running lean on bank 1". I have researched it and but my resources are limited so if any of you mechanics out there can help me out and explain what this means, I would appreciate it. LATER
