cannot get into 4th gear (overdrive)

i just did a nex technologies short-ram intake. i had to take off the MAF sensor. and my engine light goes on. and when i am driving, I cannot get into overdrive. it just stays at 3rd gear the whole way. is there a way that i can get a mass air flow sensor on this intake?

Unplug your battery for 10 minutes, hook it back up and see if that fixes the problem. Also make sure you hooked everything back up.

EDIT: Just read you took the MAF off! yeah, you can't do that on the stock ECU. Cut out a portion of the pipe and stick the MAF between it. If it is the wrong diameter your screwed since your MAF needs to read the amount of air to control your fuel management via the ECU. To sum it up, make the MAF fit or buy a new intake
