Check out the threads in this area of the message board.....

http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/f...?s=&forumid=42

With a SPI, you have limited mods, not near as many as say the Zetec does. Also this should have been posted under that category. I would move it over if I could but not a mod (yet).

Welcome to FF.com also!!

you will find a lot of help in this spi forum. i moved it for you.

but most popular spi mods arent too far off from the zetec.

if you get the 60mm throttle body from Black Diamond Racing or i think focus central makes one then you can use any of the zetec intakes. you can get both the throttle body and intake at www.myfordperformance.com

my favorite intake is the volant, a lot of people like the pipercross too which is a great intake also. if you dont feel like spending that kind of money on an intake the mac short ram is one of the best values.

catback is a good mod too. focus sport (www.focussport.com) has a nice system with a very nice sound and good performance gains.

how much do u have to spend?

right now it will be a little here and a little there untill I can get a beter source of income right now I am only pulling in 6.00$ per hour so it is barely enough to make my car payment and insurance but I am up for any suggestions and will be willing to consider them when I get the money to check it out

See my sig for mods on the spi. The only one, I dont have. Is the bdr cam gear. (as far as bolt ons go) I would like to get it. But, its the dyno time and tweaking that cost alot of money. Not only that. You dont know if you would see or get any real gains out of it. And with questionable gains. I would just rather put my money elsewhere for something else on the car.

Cheap is not a good way to go its either expensive or free, (free does not happen often) but I got a pretty good deal on an AEM Intake from www.ultrarev.com but you have to get the bigger TB to make it fit from either www.focus-central.com or www.focussport.com. Get to know these sights you will be seeing alot from them. Good luck and happy part hunting!!
