Spi Throttle Body

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

Whats the difference with this spacer and the actual throttle body... Is this just a waste of money to get to improve HP and allow me to connect my Volant to the SPI engine?

Theres actually a list a items I am looking to get in the near future for my SPI and was wondering where you guys shop mostly.
If you could possibly recommend a place to maybe get all this at once that would be cool.

Screamin' Demon Pack
Large Spark Plug Wires
Throttle Body

Those are my most important mods that will get done when I can find the right place to get them.

Thanks again everyone

A tb spacer I think has grooves in it to twist the air as it goes through creating more hp and MPG the larger tb on the other hand will not only let you use your intake but will also give more hp by producing more air flow. I suggest getting both thats on my next to do list. And about where to get the tb go to www.focus-central.com about the wires and pack I have no idea good luck.

The t/b wont net much hp but it does increase the throttle response, once you have a cai on the throttle body that is when you will notice a gain in power. To get the t/b I personally would go to www.myfordperformance.com. The coil pack is a little tougher of a mod for the fact that the plug wires for the spi are hard to fit but it has been done, I don't have information on how it is done.

www.blackdiamondracing.com for the TB, UDP's and adj. cam gear. All the guys that sell this stuff buy from BDR, so why pay for a middleman?

If you look at our intake manifold, you'll see that no twisty spacer in the world is gonna help. So you get the air all spiraling and spinning, then it hits four bends....What happened to the dizzy air? NADA, nothing, zero, freebie....Oh wait, this isn't Monster Garage... Still, you won't see a benefit to the spacer mod. If you were driving a carbed car it would do wonders as it would mix the air and fuel very well, but in our case you'd be better off buying lottery tickets.

Sorry guys, but dems da facts.
