all i did was buy an after market spectre filter and ripped out the old, stock box, and snorkel

I bought me a spectre as well. I couldnt figure out which Cai I wanted so i just bought me a filter at autozone.thanks guys

I did the same exact thing. In addition, I installed a cone breather filter to the "oil breather tube".

i was thinking about doing that. but then i was like idk if it would make a difference. i just bought a new tube to intake. i gotta figure out a way to make it fit. thatll be easy tho

There are sevreal ways to install a breather filter. First and most simple way, is to attach the breather filter hose to the little black "U-shape" rubber tube that runs from (the side towards the back) valve cover to the air filter box.

The other way, is to cut the breather filter's hose with a switch-blade or a drywall blade. To a size that will directly bolt-on the "oil breather tube" from the valve cover. After that, you can tighten the breather filter hose to the "oil breather tube" with a stainless steel hose clamp. The hose clamp is included with most breather filters.

I wish I had pics to help out with the installation, but I'll try to post some when I have the chance.

What you can't see is there is a 3" hose leading to the lower grille and a new scoop to get more cold air to the filter. Plus I'm having a heat shield fabricated for it as we speak

i went to autozone and finally bought the piping and i didnt see any difference so i took it back.with the filter i notice better respone and more power. probably around 5
