MBRP EXHAUST *audio sample*

Posted this in the Jet too. SO here you go

For those SPI'ers who are looking for exhaust and dont know what to choose let alone have that much cash. I suggest MBRP, it doesnt hurt the bank, and sounds awesome. When choosing for an exhaust I wanted an audio sample of mrbp, but couldnt find one. So here you go, audio samples of my mrbp exhaust setup. I just gotta say for the sound and performance [not that much] its worth the $199. These are three samples of my exhaust, and a bit of my intake which I ghetto modified myself [homemade cone adaption]. The intake sort of sounds like a turbo spool, which wasnt intended but love that sound.

Tell me what you think of the car, how it sounds. I may not have a more meaner car than any of you other SPI guys out there but I just love my SPI now.

Front End [front of grill] *note hear the intake*

These audios are all from a parked position, was low on gas so didnt want to drive around. But the sound is a bit the same, its A BIT quieter top end.

NOTE the mbrp audio sample on the site is of a ZETEC.

im afraid thats all. Besides minor homeade exterior mods. Just stock everything besides intake and exhaust. Going to put some irridiums within the next week. and prolly change the tranny fluid to something more efficient.

A lot of people that run the MBRP exhaust says that they are LOUD. Yours sounded more like a loud muffled sound which sounded nice. How does the exhaust sound opon start up? I have neighbors fairly close to me and I leave for work early in the morning, and I don't want them to bitch to the cops about my exhuast.

upon cold start its a nice rumble. but after awhile its nice and deep as u said. it really all depends on if the cat is hot or not. for the most part without throttle the exhaust is pretty quiet low rumble. when u give it gas does it really show its face. higher rpms and later in the power bend does it get a bit softer and quieter.

if your worried about people getting pissed off, just dont GIVE IT WAY TO MUCH THROTTLE. for hte most part this exhaust is awesome, cops or people wont get made. from what ive experianced.

I am almost sold on the MBRP exhaust, I just wish I could here what the other exhaust systems sound like. Oh, I should mention that I plan on in the future running race headers on my car so I am going to have to take into account that I am not going to have the cat.

It would make it so much easier to find the exhaust that you like instead of guessing what it will sound like hoping that it isn't too loud or not as loud as you hoped for. I know that Focus Sport carries a stealth exhaust that works great with race headers I wished they had an audio sample. Glad that you are happy with your exhaust.

What's up guys? I run a SPI under my hood :) I have no cat...I have straight thru exhaust with 2 1/4 piping, with what people call a coffee can muffler, I'll get some audio samples of that later if you would like, the muffler is from 3A Racing, I think it sounds pretty good...but then again, that's what I think :)
