Angry Problem with FC

OK, it has been about three weeks since I had ordered the 60mm TB from FC and I still have not recieved the damn thing. I knew that a lot of you guys have had problems with FC but when I ordered one from BDR they said that they were out and that FC may some left so I ordered from FC. A couple of days later I remebered that myfordperformace.com were selling the same TB so I ordered one from them hoping that this would increase my chances of getting one. Now, after three weeks, I am out $500 and my Volant CAI is collecting dust on my bench. This really sucks

I have bad news for ya , when I ordered my TB from BDR they told me that they had 1 left ( which I bought ) and they had no plans to make any more.
Tough luck man , I feel for ya cause the TB is the best mod I did for this car.

Yeah, the guys at BDR were nice enough to reemberse the money for the TB. I was told that FC had some so I ordered from them and from myfordperformance.com hoping that I would get one of them. If I get both I can just put that on the other Fucus that I have. It just sucks that my CAI is sitting and collecting dust instead of being in my car, but I guess that is life.

P.S- If I don't get the TB is there a way that I can get the CAI to fit to the stock TB?

I think it very very rare that a TB will break on ya , at worst it will get sticky but that can be fixed with a little cleaning.
You have nothing to worry about.

Thanks for the info. EuroZX3, I'm going to try and look through the auto parts stores around here, if I can't find one I'll let you now. Thanks for the offer

I not sure if it is possible but would a zetec TB fit on the SPI or are they completly different? Also would an escort (any year) TB fit the SPI with the Volant CAI?
