Question High Flow Fuel injectors for SPI 8v

I've been doing some searches for High Flow Fuel injectors for SPI 8v. I'm talking about something better than OEM not Super high performance. I know stock fuel pump, filters and lines have there limitations. Which I plan on future upgrades. But I'm hoping someone here has had some experence with upgraded injectors for the SPI 8v. and can giude me to some sites or even product numbers and lb of Injectors that have been used for this upgrade. were I can do some research. Seems you can only find things for this engine if you dig deep. Not many sites except one for headers and there back ordered. Thanks to allMy always upgrading but never finshed project

There is one set of injectors that i know of. our friend and local genious waterboy found them. if i remember right they are from ford racing.
from waterboy from FJ:
Quote:
Here's a little bit of light for you guys. Ford Racing now carries EV6 injectors. EV6 is the type we have with the two pins. They come on 23#, 34#, and 39# High Flow, and 23# and 39# High flow matched. Prices start at $275 for a set of 4. They are also only 74.7mm, the same length as our stockers. Know what that means??! NO FUEL RAIL MODIFICATION!!!! YAAAAAAAYYY!!!!
also, it is possible to run zetec injecters (stock or aftermarket), but a PITA... you need to splice the wiring and modify the fuel rail.

I do not think you will need upgraded injectors unless you are planning on forced induction though.

BTW: where are you going for headers, i can think of two sites of the top of my head that sell them.

p.s. hope you dont mind me quoting you jim....

for the headers, check out this site. i normally would recommened myfordperformance. i have done some business with them and the owner, ray, is a great guy, but backorder sucks.

and honestly, i dont know the differance between high flow and high flow matched... perhaps waterboy can answer that one.

Just like it sounds. High flow are four injectors from a bin and packaged and sent to you. High flow matched is when they take injectors and flow test them and make like injectors a set. These are more for the FI guys so there are no lean cyls. or deto.

Urn: I don't mind the quote, but you owe me $1. Copyrights and all.....
