Monza Exhaust

Has anyone had experience with the Monza exhaust or have one installed. I'm curious as if the sound is good and if the quality is worth it. It looks very nice to me...any info is greatly appreciated!

Wow I didn't know they were still around.... I remember MONZA back in the early 90's, classic yellow tip. I would check into something else though IMO, there are alot better systems out there and for the fact that nobody I know at least on here has one, that probably says something about them.

^^^^^ very true.

Wait, MONZA is a product by PACESETTER. PACESETTER is crap... lowest quality by far plus it rusts to hell..... DO NOT BUY!

I know that one.... very nice. Also, if you plan on running a race header later on, get the FS stealth or the BORLA SVT, definitely the most popular choices to keep the 'sound' to a reasonable level.

Looks to me like my orginal favorite is the best...well in my eyes. Focus Sport exhaust is a very nice system, but I do have to admit, I like the sound of the MBRP. MBRP has a better warranty, but I like the ceramic coating of the Focus Sport exhaust. Will see b/c it will be almost a year until I start installing. Saving atm cause I'm still a senior in High School and buying the car itself drained me enough for now lol. Can't Wait, and I love this site!

I got the MBRP and love it but don't plan on putting ANY header on it cause it gets extremely loud, not as bad with the shorty header but very bad with the race header. MBRP has a 5 year warranty. There is a big sale on it right now... if you can afford it but like I said, it depends on how much you are planning on doing performance wise. MBRP alone is great, awesome quality plus that sale price but if you plan serious performance mods (exhaust) then buy something else.

Also, I just realized, I was talking about the BORLA SVT, it won't fit your SPI, it does fit on the Zetec though (as far as I know it won't fit the SPI)..... also FS Stealth does make a model for the SPI. Borla also makes a system for the SPI....

save up those pennies!

and of course, if you have any more questions feel free to ask.

and i understand the pain of waiting to mod... i bought my little spi last july and havent modded cause i am too darn broke. but that should be changing in a few months. i think next spring my car will be very happy with me. :)

its always a slow process.

have fun.

and we will be around to answer your questions.

p.s. S2 i think we should name you the official lost zetec post-whore. lol. you spend almost as much time in this forum as i do.
