weight savings

What is out there that can be done to strip weight off of the car. i now that i can replace the stock hood with a CF hood and that i can put in racing style seats. i still need to keep the car driveable keeping the backseats. any suggestions would be helpful

i guess not seemingly my trunk is full of speakers. no use for the spare tire and jack uh.

lol you want to lose some weight with a trunnk full of speakers? never gonna happen, you best be taking out your 150 lb system before trying to race if you want to LOSE weight.

I recommend ROTA. All their models are light, strong, and cheap. RO_JA makes some nice light wheels as well.

I reccomend keeping the system and modding the shit out of your engine. That way you can enjoy speed and sound and dont have to strip stuff. However, I removed the airconditioning completely from my car and I was suprised how much that helped. With living in michigan, you dont need it anyways. In Illinois rolling the windows down has always been good enough for me!

how hard was it to remove the airconditioning unit, anything special that needs to be done , what about an udp.

I have an AEM alternator UDP and a Black Diamond Racing crank UDP. Results?? Well, let's say not all that impressive. The alt. UDP was an out and out bioch, and really didn't do that much anyway.
