The "W" in SWAB is for waterboy!!

Ok, here goes:
Take off your airbox and intake tube. If the box won't come off very easily, give it a good tug. It's only held on by rubber "o" rings.

Take an (I think) 8mm socket-long and take off the IMRC actuator. It's the black box just above and behind the coil pack. There should be three bolts holding it on.
Slide the actuator straight off. Don't unplug it or you'll get a CEL.
Rotate the linkage behind the IMRC actuator( on the head side) forward toward the radiator. This fully opens the secondary butterflies. Prop them fully open with whatever you have lying around. I used an old carb spring for mine.

Put it all back together except the actuator and go for a ride. I have heard of guys using washers between the actuator and the linkage to remount the actuator back on. That way it's not flopping around like a fish on deck, nor making contact wit the linkage.

There are some guys using a potentiometer to control the IMRC. I just run with mine wide open all the time. If you want to be creative you can control it with some kind of switch.

It took me longer to type this than it will for you to do this cheap mod. Free is good. If you don't like it you can return it to stock with no harm or foul.

Jim
