Exclamation sounds like a miss-fire at idle

Ok, my car was stalling at idle rpm's and I have tried all the low price items. I had the fuel pump replaced due to recall. I just put in a new fuel filter. Brand new spark plugs and wires. New battery too. What else could be causing my car to idle rough and stall sometimes while sitting at the light? Please Help!!!

sounds like it runs fine after bout 1200 rpm's. What could be the problem.

Check ALL vacuum lines and make sure they are not collapsed and/or disconnected.

you said you replaced the air filter... I have a ram air....and it does that then the filter slips off the end of the pipe.. worse when it slips off the intake manifold itself... the sensor does not pick anything up so the computer goes nuts. Might be a bad sensor or a loose conection.

I do not think it would be a vacuum line... if so then it would only get worse as the pressure in the line went up ... he said it only dies when idling.

I had the same problem before. Its either the intake or you didnt reteach the computer to idle. All you have to do is disconnect the battery for a little bit, reconnect it, and start the car and let it idle for 15 minutes. Dont touch the gas at all.
If that doesnt work. Make sure the intake is installed properly if it is. The intake is probaly a nogo. I bought a intake from ebay and after I installed it the car would not run, so I put the old one back on and it ran fine.

There also might be a cylinder misfire, you said you placed the plugs. Check your plugs and see if any are burnt and then see if you can do a cylinder test. To do so, pull the injector plug one cylinder at a time, with the car running. If on any of the cylinders it sputters to regain idle, then your ok. but if say cyl 2 doesn't sputter and you pull out cyl 3 then you have a prob. it could be a large vacuum leak, blown exhaust valves, the valve seats are unseated. so and so forth.
