it is just the focus central headers, sold on a site. The part number is FC-spi-sh and FC-spi-rh. the sh and rh being the shorty and race versions. i do not know if they are cheaper there, or on fc's site but...keep up the hunting.

They ARE cheaper on the FC site. Keep in mind that FC has had quality problems in the past. I wouldn't buy one if they were the only SPI header out there. Do what you want, but go with FC and you'll grow to regret it.

Focus Central is the only one that makes anything for the SPI that I am aware of, except for the t/b, which BDR makes for them.

FC has stood behind all warranty issues that any of my customers have needed addressed, and if I were to put a number on it, it would be very small, maybe 1%.

Even JBA has some quality issues on thier first round of headers. Lessons learned...

These guys are the real deal. myFordPerformance is a good company that will help us in any way possible. They come in a VERY close second to FocusSport. This is as close to a ringing endorsement I give, do with it what you will.

just FYI...
the race header is slightly cheaper on myfordperformance.com then on the focus-central website. plus add on shipping from fc, and myfordperformance is quite a deal!

thanks Ray.

I'd love to get headers and exhaust for my car. I'm not that worried about the warranty on the exhaust, I really only care about the driveline warranty and electrical system.

My question is this. . . I know that the race headers won't pass emissions inspection in PA. We don't have tailpipe in my county, but we do have visual. Will the shorty be able to pass inspection, since it lets you retain use of the cat? Or, does it have a CARB #? I need to get some more power. Anyone who has driven an SPI knows that it is a ball-less wonder. Especially with the auto. . .

Probably should pass inspection, unless they require it to be CARB Certified and carry a CARB Certified label.

More power, not from a short header. Pretty much a waste of money by themselves. Maybe a couple HP gain. What you could do to make more power is either do the race header and just swap it out before going in for inspection. Or, do the short header and the offroad pipe "cat eliminator pipe", then just put the cat back on before inspection.
