Tired and very pissed!

Hey guys,
I'm really pissed with my dealership and my car right now. I already vented about the dealership somewhere in another thread, so I'll spare everyone here. Anyways, the car that I bought ten days ago is dead in the drive way. I need help.

What it's doing:
The car is turning over, it looks as if I've got full power. All the idiot lights are on, the radio works etc.
It's got gas.
It's got spark.

What I think is going on:
I know there are problems with the fuel pumps, I'm hesistating having it towed to the dealership because if it's not the fuel pump, i get charged for a $80 diagnostic + towing fees.
I replaced the fuel filter. Wasn't sure if that was it or not, but figured the $8 bucks wasn't a problem. If this sounds like fuel pump problems that others have had, please say. I'd hate to take it in and find out that it's the compression or some other thing that's gonna run me an arm and a leg. It's a 2001 se with 29000 miles on it, is this the approx. mileage that the fuel pump craps out at??? I really am frustrated and need help. thanks in advance.

*edit: The death was very sudden. It drove home fine, no hesitating or anything that i could notice over the last couple of days. It sat for maybe 3 or 4 hours, went back out. started and ran for 5 seconds and then died.

have it brought to the dealer...don't ask for anything except for the fuel pump recall. if it doesn't run...try different.

Is it under warranty? It should cover and yeah if it's recall, there should be no charge. Be aggressive!!! Good luck.
