2007 Focus ST 2.3L Duratec - Timing Chain or Timing Belt?

Do the new 2.3 duratecs use timing chains or timing belts?

The Ford Brochure mentions "chain-driven dual overhead cams", but are they referring to the chain linking the 2 cams or chains for everything?

chain for everything, more compact deseign just like your crownvic, no belt

Nice touch! I never liked timing belts and have steered away from 4-bangers because of this.

Wrong. Duratecs have always been timing chains.

Zetecs use belts.
