the body lines scream mustang to me. and the grill looks kinda funky, but the mirrors are a much needed improvement!

If Ford is killing off the hatches, it's a real pity and a lost opportunity. The Focus is the largest hatchback you can buy, next to the 3 sport. It seems like alot of others are banking on Americans accepting hatches too. Look at the recent entries: Fit, Yaris, Versa. I think it looks like Ford/GM/Chrysler are doing the same thing they always have done: assume that an American company can't build and sell a decent small car.

All I'll say on the coupe/new sedan is... "Bold moves? Not."

My vote for new no slogan: "Get bored with Ford."

And this from someone who has ONLY owned Fords.

I think the Edge will sell well. But I agree with you completely. Ford can piss off if they think I'm buying one of their products again before they prove their competence for about 10 years of solid products.

I think the Edge will sell well also.. but even it's not exactly a "Bold Move." Nice, but definitely not "Bold."

ford is killing the hatches, yet other companys are coming out with them, unless they are thinking about bringing the fiesta over to compete with the fit, versa, etc. Also, the 08 focus is going to have a two bar grill, b/c the three bar grill wouldnt fit....um ford dont you think thats alittle hint about something

I think that the coupe has potential to do well all depending upon what type of powertrain they decide to go with.
